Hunter Percy attended medical school and asked all the "interesting questions" that his professors didn't like. He worked as an anesthesiologist in the ER, when he heard "whoosh" as a patient flatlined. This intrigued him in life after death and he began working on how to operationalize and study it.

Appearance & Personality[]
Obsessive with his work, creatively engineers his own tools for his studies. He feels sleep is a waste of time because it interferes with his work, so he takes sleeping pills. He is a recluse with little to no social contact outside of his occasional travel trips. HAP has a keen sense towards sound and exceptional hearing abilities.
